The Yukon Forge Rounding Hammers are made in-house by farriers for farriers and blacksmiths. Starting with 4140 steel, the entire process is in-house from the first cut to the final fit-up. Hammers are first machined with CNC equipment to their different functions and weights, then they go to the belt grinders to get deburred. Next they are heat treated and tempered for the rugged life they will live. Lastly, they get their final shine and fit up to hickory handles. ​There is a lot of pride and work in each of these hammers. Available in 1.75lb, 2lb, 2.25lb, and 2.5lb weights.
