The Austin Edens 200 lb. anvil features a nice wide face with slight bump outs for drawing clips. The heel has a V-Shape underneath that allows for more clearance for shaping. All Scott Anvils are poured in a Texas foundry. They use a proprietary blend of ductile iron that has all the properties needed to produce the best quality anvils available today. They then grind, machine, heat treat, hand finish and paint each anvil in their shop in Amarillo, Texas. The 250lb Scott Big Boy is the largest anvil in the Scott family. It's design is based on traditional style London pattern anvils. The Big Boy Features Bump Blocks on each side of the anvil giving a lower area to bump material as well as adding more mass to the body of the anvil.
