TAKE YOUR WRITTEN EXAM FOR THE AFA
Wednesday January 21st, 2027 take your written exam. There is no fee for the testing, but the AFA requires you to have an updated membership and to pay for the test. Good Luck, and study hard! The first four testers who need assistance to reach their goal will be given a donation by Stockhoff's Horseshoes to update their membership or pay for the testing fee. Stockhoff's will provide up to $250 in financial assistance to our customers wanting to achieve their certification goal. Contact Molly at 1-800-421-1002 to see if you are eligible, and we will help you get to where you want to be! Everyone else testing, the tester and facility are free, but you must have a current membership with the AFA and pay for the test you will be taking.
UPDATED 5-14-26: How the event will unfold
Our lectures, lunch and trade show will be held at CityPlace, a beautiful local facility in LaGrange, KY. (Cityplace Website ) This will be from 7am to 4pm. We will provide the transportation from the hotel to the venue, and if you need to visit the local gas station, Walmart, etc., Stockhoff's will get you there.
Our evenings will be filled with forging and smaller round table discussions. You will be able to sign up for your clinician of choice and round table topic once you have paid for the spot. We will have the list of round table topics and forging clinicians soon.

Unfortunately, do to unforeseen circumstances, like truck fires and raining on the inside of the building, we may need to alter the schedule and speakers. We will do everything in our power to keep the event on schedule, but earthquakes due to ancient creatures rising from the earth’s core and the very real chance of an alien zombie attack, will be out of our control.
